  • Nod 32 I guess is OK if you prefer to pay for software yr after yr, but I didn't see where it covered rootkits or keyloggers If AntiMalwar means Malwarebytes AntiMalware this is a good one but not good enough as your only protection as its mainly Malware You need a spyware program such as spybot S&D I prefer for virus something like AVG 8.0 if you would like a free list & instructions just let me know your OS
  • NOD32 is up at the top of the list for good security. It does the job well, is not wearisomely requiring your permission at every other breath, it has a small footprint and does not hog your resources. Malwarebytes AntiMalware utility is also effective and 'does the biz' especially against the latest scareware software that tells you in great big screaming messages on your desktop that your computer is infected with umpteen thousand viruses, trojans and the like. The only other product I would say you would find useful, is Linkscanners XPL Pro - the stand alone version. This will protect you from going to bad sites in the first place, so you don't get the nasties that AntiMalware then has to deal with. There is a free version, but it is worthwhile getting the paid version.
