That really depends on the type of exam. Last time I saw him, he was looking at my throat - if he had asked me to undress for that, I would have been concerned!

During my annual physical I remove all of my clothing and when I'm completely nude I put on the gown. I don't know why he bothers though since it's pulled down for my breast exam and up for my pelvic exam.

Is it odd that every time I have a physical, I am fully clothed? I seem to be the odd one out here.

I'm usually fully clothed... even if it's a whole body exam. If it's in a hospital though then it'll be a gown. But with my doctor, he doesnt make me wear a gown or anything. I would refuse anyway if he did. xD

I have never had to get naked... although it depends on the exam. Sometimes I need to take my top and bra off - othertimes (for the gyno) obviously I need to strip on the bottom half.

It depends upon why one is seeing the doctor. Have virtually always been given a gown after being told to remove all except/or including my jockeys. I'd think that with virtually no exceptions, we're all "just another body" to the doctors.

Usually the shirt comes off. Depends on the exam. Not looking forward to the other exam where the pants come off...

I only strip off what I need to remove for the examination. If it requires some nudity a modesty gown is always provided for me to use until the examination begins. No professional should have you standing completely naked or lying completely naked on the examination bed. You should always be provided with something to cover up until you need to be exposed.

In gown, and with undergarments. Tthey will ask you to remove the undergarments as & if necessary.

depends on what dr. family is underwear and paper thingee, gyno is nude paper thingee. cardiologist is just top half nude with paper thingee. endocrinologist is fully clothed. my ophthalmologist is fully clothed. that is all i can think of off the top of my head.

At the Gyno, i never had to take off my top. As for during a physical- nude with a gown..even though there was no need to be nude.

Depends on the cause of the visit. If complete exam then I take off evrything and sit on table if others in the room she uses a small cover over your lap. Funny thing. The last time I got a shot the young nurse asked me where I wanted the shot, in the arm or the butt. I said butt and she called my bluff. She grabbed my hand and helped me up and the little lap cover fell to the floor. She sat in front of me and prepared the needle. Then she aked me to turn around and bend over the table and gave me the shot. Since I drive a long way to a visit and have heated seats I now prefer the butt to either arm and have a shot done there whenever required.

Two appointments. First one is for blood and urine and minor things that the nurse does while I am dressed. When results come back, I have physical with the doc. I am nude but have a hospital gown on til he needs to get to my private bits, front andback. How is it possible to have a physical with clothes on, it doesn't work, unless you go round with holes in ur trou both front and rear. Same precedure with any doc I haveever had. Interestingly, in most of Europe, they don't even know what the term 'physical exam' means. Don't let anyone tell u that nationalized health care works cause it doesn't unless you are too poor to have a doc of ur own.
