I saw someone complaining the other day-- are these questions with __blanks__ new to AB?

Yes they are. They used to be flaggable as Nonsense since they weren't a question. Then they formed a category for them and the Staff tried allowing them. Most old time members dislike them as good questions with blanks can actually be phrased as a question anyway. And questions with multiple blanks just look awkward and kind of forced.
