I am in Love, but I feel like don't want Valentines Day. Does anyone else feel like its forced emotion day? I prefer to just be romantic when I want to.

Totally. I just don't like valentines day. I'd rather him get me something on a random day, and not feel forced to do it, you know?

Shouldn't we celebrate love every day?......but, is not the only thing Valentines Day is all about. I bet many people don't even no what the holiday is celebrating......It is to celbrate the life of a anti-torture activist.....St. Valentine is thought to have been put to death for rescuing Christians from Roman prisons, where prisoners were abused and tortured.

I agree with being romantic on a regular basis but I think something special on valentines day is nice. It doesn't need to be much or even cost money but a little surprise I'm sure would be appreciated.

I think Valentines, just makes it worse for us who dont have a boyfriend, and feel lonely like me,, valentines is the wprst day of my life.... any one else beisdes me?

Yeah I feel valentines day is just another day to get people to buy stuff they don't need. I still don't know what to get s/o. Maybe they should just have a Valentines isle in the stores so people can be romantic whenever instead of EVERYONE on the same day haha

me too, especially since that's my birthday too. I had no Valentine's growing up so I don't have positive thoughts about it.....the birthday memories are nice though.

Yeah, I'm in love too but I dread the thought of Valentine's day. I just can't stand it, especially when things happen like when other people shower your boyfriend/girlfriend with things and NOT in a friendly way. It gets even uglier when they know your s/o is taken.

me and my boyfriend both agree'd we don't wanna celebrate it with cheesy cards or pressies or forced emotions, just spending the day together as we usually do is enough for us, and I'm 16 lol x

whats the point of valentines day! if you are a couple you can be affectionate, anytime you wantt. no need for a special dayy :)
