I just got in from a funeral. It was a real celebration of the deceased's life. Have you ever come away from a funeral feeling better?

Yes. My aunt's grandfather died after living a full life in his 90s and his children shed a tear or two but for the most part they shared anecdotes about him and his deeds and his full life. They knew he lived a full life and it was time to shed this avatar and move on and they applauded him on.

Yes, because Iknew that that person was on their way to heaven to be with God and Jesus and that is eternal happiness.

No. That's why I expect my "funeral" to be a celebration. Nothing less. If they don't play my song I'll haunt them...

Yes, two within the last year. It was a husband and wife and their deaths were within three months of each other. The service was a wonderful celebration of their lives. Their funerals were the most uplifting I've ever attended.
