  • I find it more -- annoying -- that there are people out there that think a woman should manage her pubes the way they find attractive, and otherwise they say stuff like "Omg she had a bush!! Eww!!" They're my pubes and I'll do whatever I want to them. But yes, that trend is pretty weird. However, it is useful if you want oral, so there's a good thing. All in all, I think the most important thing is that it should be encouraged that whatever women do to their bodies, they do it for themselves.
  • I've been waxing "down there" since I was 16 years old. It has nothing to do with wanting to look like a pre-pubescent child and everything to do with hygiene and personal preference. I find the thought of having hair that collects sweat and oils to be very unappealing. I am fastidious about cleanliness and so I wax my body hair. That's it.
  • I have no desire for prepubescent females. I prefer a woman to be shaved or waxed. Longer hair down their gets in the way and sometimes pulls when having sex. It also gets in the way for oral sex. Clean and smooth is the only way to go!
  • I do find it kind of disturbing but do appreciate not getting hairballs in my throat. I doubt most women are thinking they want to look prepubescent. I think as long as it is a woman doing so because she wants to and not because some creepy guy demands it, it is a matter of choice
  • Not at all. I don't desire ten year olds. But I like a shaved genital area.
  • I didn't know that was the reason for shaving. I heard or read, shaving was just another way to bring pleasure into the love game. Men have been told it is good for them to shave also. Do you really think by doing this, people are trying to emulate children??
  • If women made efforts to stop their natural breast development and menstrual cycle, then yeah i'd be thinking there was some issues happening, but shaving/waxing/whatever does not seem gross to me at all. If anything, it seems cleaner, healthier and more hygienic. Such happenings have been occurring for many years and are not a new social trend, it is simply more talked about these days, as it becomes more common and less of a big deal :)
  • Strictly a choice thing. Has nothing to do with current trends. I am not as old as dirt..but then I am not 20 either, and there have been girls doing that for years.
  • I personally believe there are both good and bad reasons behind this trend. I know of some sick people who desire this for sick reasons but also know some who hate body hair. I would never ask another to remove their hair for my pleasure. I like accepting people for who they are not for what they can do for me. It makes it better for them to accept me for who I am. There are alternatives in trimming and shaving a portion of the pubic area if hygiene is an issue.
  • Oh for God's sake! If a woman wants to shave, let her shave. If she doesn't, then she shouldn't. My wife does because she wants to. With her it's a hygine issue. But it does nothing for me whatsoever. She is who she is. Find something REAL to moan about!
  • I shave Jen-Jen. I like it and soon I will have laser treatment done. It's a hygiene thing for me. I just feel better being shaven. That hair is totally necessary, it serves no purpose since the advent of underwear. I never even asked beau which he prefers. I don't do it for him. Do you shave no part of it? Not even a trim??
  • I think you'll find there are numerous reasons why women shave their regions & I'm pretty sure very few do it to resemble children. I'ld be interested to know what you think about the current trend for men to shave their ballzac area..... is this also a child thing???
  • No. How is it anymore gross than shaving your armpits? Prepubescent girls don't have hair there either. It has nothing to do with looking like a child. It's about hygiene and convenience. It serves no real purpose other than harboring bacteria, plus it looks better. Why not take it off?
  • Yes, absolutely. Having worked with juvenile sex offenders who were attracted to hairless four and six year olds, I find women who emulate those little girls to attract men suspect and the men who are attracted to that REALLY gross.
  • It wasnt until the late 60s I think that pubic hair was allowed to be shown in "gentleman's" magazines. On the theory within the question this would suggest that men who read these magazines prior to that time had an unnatural taste.
  • Do you find it gross that the current societal trends encourage women to coat their faces in powder, thus emulating the facial smoothness of prepubescent children? Do you find it gross that current societal trends encourage men to shave their faces, thus emulating prepubescent children? Not really, no.
  • It feels more comfortable, I find.
  • Well, since we all adults here, I think it feels better during sex if it is shaven. It is also clean feeling. If someone thinks of it as sick, then maybe they are thinking sick things. I don't feel it is unattractive for a woman to have pubic hair if taken care of .
  • I can't give a completely unbiased answer since my *ex* wife did it once and it was real cool until I later found out she did it to hide the fact she shaved because she got crabs from another dude. :(
  • I ask my wife to shave then i make a moustache out of her pubes. Looks really cool.
  • Not at all. I find it clean and smooth. It's a lot sexier to run your tongue across something smooth than something hairy, in my opinion. I've been shaving and waxing for years. I simply don't like a lot of hair down there. It has nothing to do with wanting to look like a child and everything to do with personal preference.
  • i dont remember what one looks like?
  • Not really. Society today also encourages men to shave their faces. Doesn't this make them look even more like prepubescent children than shaved genitals do?
  • I dont find it gross but i prefer trimmed as i want something to remind me that i am sleeping with a beautify women not a 12 year old
  • miss bush
  • No I don't. I don't see anything wrong with women doing what they want down there. And I personally see nothing wrong with any of the other options. I don't really know, but I would be guessing that women wouldn't do it emulate "pre-pubecent children." I think it would be more for personal preference and hygiene and that sorta stuff.
  • I have been waxing for a long time. It has nothing at all to do with wanting to look like a young girl. As someone said it is more comfortable and cleaner.
  • I like my woman to have absolutely no hair there and little kids dont turn me on at all! No I dont think its gross or has anything to do with trying to look like a child!
  • I have never ever liked my pubic hair since it started coming in when I was about 10. I actually tried to shave it off then, and cut myself. I just don't like it and now trim and will wax or get laser removal when I have enough money.
  • Yes, I do. I would never shave for a man. Fortunately no one have ever asked me to - I go for older men and they have all preferred and asked for a full bush. Pubic hair is natural.
  • I've always worked on staying smooth and bald, even as my hair began to come in. Hard to wear tiny bikinis with hair. Besides, I really like the bare feeling.
  • Absolutely not...the closer the meat, the sweeter the taste, the better the tongue;-)
  • It really comes down to personal preference. Having said that, I prefer shaved because it's more clean and you won't ever have to go outside with something... accidentally in your teeth!
  • Well if that were the only reason it's done, then yes. But I think your question is a loaded one, since it's an aesthetic trend as much as facial or head hair, though with more emphasis on sexual attractiveness.
  • i don't shave to look like a prepubescent girl. i do it simply because i don't like body hair. i've been shave all of my body hair off since it started darkening. for some reason i just never liked it.
