I'm 16, he's 19. Is it legal for us to have phone sex or otherwise "talk dirty" with each other?

I don't know of any laws specifically forbidding phone sex, but your state may consider it corruption of a minor; it may also have laws about what it considers obscene, even in private. Even if it is illegal in your state, though, the law isn't likely to be enforced. (On the other hand, if you talk dirty when you're right next to each other, it's pretty easy to ease into other activies which are illegal in most states. Be careful, and be safe.)

Most states have laws that cover this question. its called contributing to the delinquency of a minor. if i were your parent and discovered your dirty talking, i would find some way to record your conversations and present the tape to the local district attorney for possible prosecution. by the way, what happened to old-fashioned dating. taking a girl to a movie and maybe dinner? morales........where are you???

This partially depends where you are however it falls into the same category as "sexting". And phone companies keep records of conversation times and can easily be taped if requested by law enforcement. Should you be caught (again depending where you are) the 19 year old would land himself on the sex offender list. Your best bet is always wait til 18 then everything is pretty much fair game.

I guess it could be considered legal because in America we have the freedom of speech, but I wouldn't recommend it.
