Is it true that the I.R.S. has extended the Federal tax filing deadline this year to April 7th 2007 ?

Yup this year its actually April 17. "Taxpayers will have extra time to file and pay because April 15 falls on a Sunday in 2007, and the following day, Monday, April 16, is Emancipation Day, a legal holiday in the District of Columbia." http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=167194,00.html You may not have heard about the telephone excise tax deduction - it's only $30 but hey.
