  • I don't know why he would think that as the common symptom of pasteurella is snuffles, crusty runny nose or eyes, not the other end of the rabbit. To me it sounds more like your rabbit has cecal dysbiosis. There is something wrong with the cecotropes so they are sticking to the rabbit when they come out, in the morning time. But this isn't an illness, it's just a sign of something wrong. Have you tried feeding only timothy hay and no pellets at all? There might be something in the pellets that is unbalancing the diet, some grain or seed, too much carbohydrates. Stop the carrots and feed leafy greens, carrot tops, broccoli. Give her some unsweetened pineapple juice through a syringe, about 5 ml several times a day for a few days as well.
