of course it's possible. Just pray right now to whoever you want. i doubt mobsters are going to break down your door in 5 minutes demanding you join a religion :) Adherents to particular religions will tell you differently and will quote verses from THEIR religion telling you why you must join theirs but none of them have a notarized letter from God proclaiming them correct. do what makes you feel right

That's the best way. Eliminate the middleman. It really works!
-
yes I do.
-
sure. God listens to everyone.
-
Yes, and if you are meant to start adhering to religion laws i can assure you God will let yoou know.
-
Yes, in fact, I consider myself a believer of God, a Christian, but I'm not absolutely stuck on any given religion, or church. In fact, I used to belong to a church where we sang a song that says "there's a place where religion finally dies".

It's possible. That's what the term spirtitual is for right?
-
Those who practice spirituality and/or non traditional forms of expression pray all time. Despite what may be popularly believed. religions don't have exclusive rights to prayer.
-
yes, do u think he'll hear u , yes, if u are asking for the right things in the right way.....prayer is our most personal , valuable link to God and HE very much wants us to, anytime, anywhere...most especially in the hard times , turn to HIM, as Jonah, Job, and many do....HE will help and show u the WAY if HE knows u are sincere......
-
Absolutely, that describes me so obviously I think it's fine.
-
Yes, it's quite possible. Many people are and do just that. I would even consider the non-theistic schools of Buddhism to engage in prayer. The Buddhist practice of taking refuge is a form of prayer as is the dedication of one's meditation or work to the enlightenment of sentient beings.

well in my opinion if you pray to god, you are basically putting yourself in the same box as most organized religions. They dictate that a god requires prayer. Who's to say (if god exists) that requires you to pray, couldn't he just read your mind? Why would he want you to pray or worship him? Maybe he just wants you to live your life? Maybe god doesn't answer, maybe god is nothing like what we have imagined, maybe god is indifferent...my point being, you are still picking options out of a box they created. You are still making your choices from a list of choices given to you instead of coming to your own conclusions and making the choices you decide for the reasons you determine. Here's an idea; communicate with your god anyway you feel is right for you, or don't at all...it's completely up to you. The idea is to be spiritual NOT religious. You Can believe in a higher power without subscribing to the ideals, traditions and dogma of religion

Faith and religion are two different things. A person can be religious and have no faith. Likewise a person can have faith without religion. In your case you have faith.
-
Praying to God, is between you and God in your heart and soul, God is there for you at all times and welcomes your prayers and love because God has unconditional love for us all.
-
yea. i hit a point where i was neither catholic nor anything else at the time. i still prayed
-
Sure. But it could sometimes be a lonely way.
