I actually think its here to stay and will be the norm in the cars to come.

I have seen the commercial and i agree that i dotn think it will be around long. Peopel will not use it correctly...line it up correctly and i forsee a lot of accidents happeneing around the usage of that technology.

Yes the highly expensive Lexus. I do believe it will be installed in many high rated sports vehicles. Over the next 10 years or so, perhaps it will come stock with a car, hard to say

I think it will be a limited availability trick like rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlights. Of course pretty soon we won't be bothered to drive. Hell, nowadays three out of four people forget/never learn how to drive stick!

I think this is the future. We are moving towards an automated driving system. Picture this: 1) Get in the car. 2) Key in your destination to your Sat-Nav. 3) Enter your PIN code or swipe your chipped arm to prove it is your car! 4) Relax to some music. 5) Arrive at destination. It’s a long way off, but eventually I expect most transport will be out of our direct control. (That goes for public transport too - the new Japanese trains drive themselves.)

Yes I have and I think it will go on to be more refined and developed. All the ocean liners do this now - can't see them ever reverting so I think it might be the same for the cars. As a woman driver it sings with me -especially parallel parking. I'd drive around he block to get out of it if I could!!!!

I saw a pair of those shoes day before yesterday. A lot of folk have issues parallel parking. I think that's a gadget that's here to stay even if it's currently only in a Lexus.
