Yes I do think that some people are afraid to talk openly about sex, mostly due to the negative attention it has in most societies. It is not something that you are "supposed" to talk openly about exept with your partner. I think this affects more girls than boys due to traditionally women has not been able to even express a desire for sex.

I am not sure about most people, but defintely some people are afraid to talk about sex. Why ? Because it is personal.

Yes, and it's a d**n shame! Talking about sex still makes people react as if you are - childish (you should "outgrow a nasty habit like that) - cheap (if you talk about sex like that it must be a sign of a unnatural high sex drive and also a lack of control of oneself) - stupid (sex is not an "intelligent" subject)

yes, most people are afraid to talk about sex because they feel they might get judged. this is normal and very common, what most people dont know is that mostly everyone feels this once in their lives, you gotta learn to accept your sexual preferences cuz if you dont than no one will. i talk about sex very freely, i am not afraid to say what i like or dont like, many people think im nasty and stupid and may not agree with me but they respect the fact that im confortable about it...once you love what you love, then everyone will accept it no matter if they disagree.

You need to come to my work place, we all talk about it. Were pretty open & honest & make jokes about it often. I guess thats why I like my job, we are very professional when we are around our customers but we still cut up & make goofy comments about sex when no one is around. There is 7 women & 1 male boss & he's not offensive what so ever we are all about the same age but we are mature enough not to talk about it around the older people. None of us make suggestive comments about each other its usually just talking about the acts or what we like or have liked with our partners or spouses. We have alot of fun & I guess thats what keeps us 'alive' & active.
