If I start collecting my social security benefits at 62 and my husband who has been collecting full benefits for several years dies even if I am not yet 66, do I get 100% of his benefits after his death? Carol

    Carol, I believe the answer is yes. You can call the Social Security Administration and ask. They have no reason not to answer you truthfully.
