  • no, you will get poisoned by the copious amount of bleach you'd pour on your head and your hair would likely fall out. i really hope you were not serious about your question.

  • I'm not sure you'd have any hair left afterward.
  • NO NO NO it will make your hair fall out and will eat up your scalp don't do it
  • only if you don't like your scalp
  • technically you could bleach your hair but not dye it. The household bleach will bleach your hair and you will get a really good view of the colour as all you hair falls out and your scalp sloughs off
  • Household Bleach (sodium hypochlorite) is the worst thing you could do to your head and skin. It will also run down your forehead in to your eyes, causing permanent damage to you vision. Typically, hydrogen peroxide is used to lighten your hair; though there are other things you can use. There are three ways to do this: One: get a spray bottle, fill it with peroxide. mist your hair and spend time in the sun. The effect is natural, subtle light tones blended in your hair. I recommend a moderate first application to see if you like the effect, if you need more, repeat the process again the next day until you are satisfied with the results. This method produces the most natural look. Two: get several bottles of peroxide, saturate a towel, then wrap the towel around your head and leave sit for a few hours. The effect is hair that is gone from dark (black/brown) to a lighted but dominate orangish-brown with possible random strands of your natural color mixed in or depending on leingth of har the tips left your natural colour . Three: Saturate your hair with peroxide, saturate a towel, let sit, then spend time in the sun. This is the most extreme and obvious to others that you use peroxide to lighten your hair. This method is popular with the skateboard punks.
  • Household bleach is way too strong to use on your head. For a test experiment, cut a small amount of your hair and put it in a jar, then add a little household bleach. You will probably see it disintegrate. My sons used to have blond hair all summer from the chlorine in the swimming pool.
