  • oooo that's a good one. I think they should if they want to say they're truly against animal cruelty/exploitation/experimentation
  • PETA went from a group that had a somewhat reasonable cause in that animals who are going to be killed for food should not suffer excessively. I agree with that principle, but now PETA, like most Wacko leftist groups, are a bunch of maniacs who are so unrealistic that their points are not even taken seriously by reasonable people.
  • Should people who are in favor of animal experiments be denied use of antibiotics, such as penicillin, because it kills hamsters and Guinea pigs? Should they not take Tylenol because it causes kidney failure in cats? Should they be advised to take Thalidomide because it does not cause birth defects in animals (it causes missing limbs in humans)? Should they be told that heart disease does not exist in humans because it does not exist in animals? ... (very long list of similar questions) ...? Some people are opposed to animal experiments on purely scientific grounds. These animal experiments you speak of might not be the greatest thing since sliced bread. You people never even stop to consider that animal experiments might be harmful to humans. ... Insulin is synthetically produced now because of problems caused by pig and cow insulin. ... The person who asked this question has no clue about all the harm that animal research has caused humans.
  • I would let them decide for themselves, individually. They will probably refuse to use products that involve cruelty against animals. And they will also boycott products whose testing procedure involves animal testing. As to the results of former research using animal testing, as it is already made, it would not make much sense to refuse its benefits, but this is my personal opinion. Anyway, I think that most PETA supporters are also able to think for themselves and take this kind of decisions alone.
  • Anytime I go to a doctor I insist that he or she does not rely on animal experiments when forming a diagnosis or treatment for me. It is more about my concern for my health than the health of animals that are part of a medical research business fraud. I do, however, encourage my German Shepard's veterinarian to review animal experiments on German Shepards (not cats, rats, pigs, ect.) when diagnosing and treating my pet dog.
  • lmfao. i can just see a diabetic peta supporter refusing to take his insulin shot as he's passing out. the answer to your question is no. they are just against killing animals for superficial crap, right?
  • If a member of peta had a mother who was dying of lets say kidney failure I can guarantee you that the peta member would go to the hospital and have treatment to save there mothers life. Peta members are hypocrites and they wouldn't last a week without items made by animal testing.
