I feel as though one of my friends has betrayed me, she comes round in the morning to my house and gets a lift to college, but then she ditches be at college. At the end of the day she comes all sweet and gets a lift home - what should I do?

I think that your friend is not betraying you BUT using you. Tell her that your not the public restroom, suggest she get a good pair of walking shoes because you do not appreciate nor allow anyone to use you. or anyone to respect you, you first have to respect yourself even if it means you lose someone that you think is your friend.

What do you want to do? You can't really change whether or not she socialises with you at college but you can decide whether or not to give her a ride. I suggest you talk to her about your concerns, and/or stop giving her a ride.

Leave before she gets to your house, don't answer your phone when she calls you and avoid her at school. If you do this 3 or 4 days in a row, she'll get the message. If she doesn't, damnit, run her over with your vehicle!

Take a little social initiative, and hang out with her a bit. If she seems to be INTENTIONALLY avoiding you, the friendship is over, and she's just using you. The chances are, though, that she's just gotten busy. Part of the process of going to college is finding new friends. Sounds like your friend has done that, and you have not. This is another place where you may need to put a strong foot forward and meet some people.

Do something after school some day, like play a game or hang out. Odds are at college, she is trying to meet new people, because that is her only avenue to meet new people. My guess, is she does care for you, so take some initiation to do something outside of the college day.

since she is college educated, she should have no problem understanding when you tell her that, she will need to pretend to be someone elses friend and get a ride from them!!!!!

Perhaps you should say "Gas doesn't come cheap! Quit using me!"

Tell her that, since you are providing the ride every day, and she is not paying anything, perhaps she needs to pay to fill your tank once every so often. I don't know how far you have to go, but I'd say every fourth fill up should be paid by her for the privilege.

Just take off without her.
