Most drivers ED courses are layed out to take the average student from no experience to drivers license in about 4 to 6 months. However, it depends on the invidual, and several factors come into play like are you a fast learner? The biggest would be is how often do you practice? And where do you practice? Someone who practices in a parking lot will not be as skilled as someone who practices in actual traffic. Also keep in mind, if you have a permit, most states require so much practice time before you can test. More than required is always better. If youre able to practice in actual traffic everyday, the average person should be well familiar after a couple weeks. Also 2 tips I would give is to practice in different conditions. Drive during rush hour as well as peroids of little traffic. Drive on highways to get familiat with conditions they present. Drive during day and night. And secondly, if possible learn the routs the drivers facility testers often use. Some have set routs that they always use. Become extreamly familiar with these areas. Since everyone's different and I don't know your skill personally, nobody can really asnwer this question for you exactly. But when youre ready, you'll fell it when you get behind the wheel... Good Luck

Took me 1 1/2 years. But I would say on average I only took about 25-30 hours of lessons . They said that was avrage.
