i absolutely recommend renewing your vows in front of family and friends, I believe that it will have a positive effect on your marriage and respark that honeymoon feeling....ALTHOUGH...if you honestly dont have the money to save up for it, i wouldnt push it....money issues can start having a negative effect on your marriage and defeat the purpose of the whole thing. i wish you the best of luck in your decision!

Nothing is a waste of money if you truly believe in meaning behind it. I think its great, if its something you wanted but couldnt afford at the time. I will say, weddings can become very costly, and later you may think, wow, we could have used that money on this or that, or whatever. But it sounds like something that is very important to you, & I dont think there is anything wrong with your desire to have it.

You don't have to spend a lot of money to renew your vows. You may want to wait and do it on a 5-year anniversary or a 3-year anniversary if you are ready then. A small reception wouldn't cost an arm and a leg and possibly friends could help you do it. I would go for it.

Go for it.

My wife and I got married 10 years ago this year in a courthouse. We plan on doing the same one day! I say if it makes you happy there is no way it is a waste of money!
