  • No. Its expensive.
  • non-heath related reason not to smoke: makes you and your car/home smell really bad.
  • SMELL! I really don't like kissing a cigarette!
  • Non health related reason why I smoke; I'm an idiot.
  • I am a smoker. I try not to smoke too much because I like to have clean breath. You never know when you might need it. I smoke because I get bored at times and when I wake up in the morning before work, the thought of a cigarette gets me out of bed. Sometimes a cigarette just sounds very tasty. There is a right time to smoke in my opinion, but most people abuse tobacco and use at the right times, and 3-4 times in between.
  • I started smoking because it was an act of rebellion, independence, and to have a common habit with people. Now, 10 years later, it's not very cool. But it gives me a reason to just go outside and daydream for a moment, take my mind off things, and just alleviates stress in general.
  • No - it keeps your mouth busy.
  • no,i dont smoke because i have asthma.even if i didnt have asthma i wouldnt thnk of putting a cancerweed in my mouth.
  • i don't like the smell and my bro's frind challenged me no't 2 smoke until over 30 so he can get me a car.will thet all i guess.
  • Nope. Smoking is a very disgusting habit
  • I smoke because I look really cool with a cigarette. Actually, because I couldn't wait to grow up, like most smokers. I keep it up because A.) it hasn't been that good a ride and I don't want to prolong it, and B.) because, addicted or not, I like it.
  • It seems like you are asking nonsmokers what is good about smoking but I think it's just worded funny. Anyway,I'm a smoker and it's killing me so I have to justify: It involves very deliberate breathing so it is a sorty of meditative thing like yoga. When I smell a cigarette it's like waking up and smelling bacon. It makes you hungry but in the case of cigarettes it makes you want to smoke so I always say cigarettes smell like bacon.
  • When I'm drunk and around smokers, I'll have a cig. Apparently, though, I do it all wrong; I puff the smoke into my mouth, then I waft it in artistic puffs around the room. I had no idea you were supposed to inhale it, that's what I thought people did and I found it shocking that people could get addicted to smoking. The reason I don't smoke while sober is because I find it much less entertaining, and it just makes my mouth and clothes wreak.
  • Im not a smoker, i hate smoking. i have a very stong veiw of smoking, none of my friends smoke, if they did ide disown them. my mum died of lung cancer 2 years ago when i was 15. theres just no need to smoke! there are NO REASONS to justify it, you kill people and you kill the people around you. if your a selfish bas*ard and dont care about yourself or others, it wastes your money. Dont smoke, if you smoke give up. dont even try to justify why you do it
  • Never tried it and got pressured to.
  • I used to smoke, I quit when my daughter was born. I did it for her, not for me. Well it's for me too, but she was my motivation.
  • I am a smoker...and, starting at 10 years of age, have been one for 60 years. I smoke 3 packs per day! I once tried to stop smoking. After 15 months, I gained 62 pounds from a starting point of 160 pounds! My normally humorous, fun-loving personality tuned into Mr. Hyde...and I was emotionally hurting those I love. They were understanding...but I hated myself. Faced with a crisis situation, I started smoking again. I have retuned to my normal weight [i.e., high school weight less 5 pounds...and am once again the sweetest, loving thing under the sun. :-)] I have needed the services of a doctor only 3 times in the past 30 years. I recently went through a barrage of testing...treadmill, stress, nuclear assessment, cholesterol and more...with results that had the doctors telling me, albeit shaking their heads in disbelief, not to change one thing in my life I am a 24/7 caregiver to my s/o and best friend of 36 year, who was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, currently in "Last Stage", some 10 years ago. (And somebody want ME to stop smoking...and slit my wrists!?!) BTW, my care receiver began showing symptoms not long after he stopped smoking cold turkey after being a smoker for some 35 years. I seriously believe that if I would stop smoking, my brain would be so traumatized that every organ in my body would go into rebellion...not that any of the nanny anti-smoking Gestopo would care.
  • I'm not for 3 reasons beyond the health issue. 1.It is a waste of money. Instead of buying 2 packs of cigarettes, I could get a book or lunch. 2. I hate the smell of smoke. 3. My mom smokes. When I was little I vowed I never would if only because she does.
  • I do not smoke. Aside from all the health problems it is a really expensive habit. It also makes your home and clothes smell awful.
  • No, I'm not. I've always found the odor of cigarettes and cigarette smokers disgusting. I just can't stand being around them. That's why I don't smoke.
  • One reason I still smoke is that I can excuse myself for a little while from anything to light up! ;-)
  • No - it is a waste of money
  • no...because smokers stink and no one is attractive sucking on a cigarette
  • I smoke because I enjoy it. The taste of the smoke, the way it feels in my throat and lungs, the feeling of relaxation before and during a nice, slow exhale. Smoking is and always has been a real pleasure for me. (Note to those who complain about the taste of smoker's kisses -- I'm a very heavy smoker, and have never gotten one complaint.)
  • No, I hate the smell sooooo not sexy
  • I only smoke cigg at work, it a good excuse to take a break. At home i smoke pot to relax from a hard day of taking breaks.
  • I was a smoker, but quit just over a year ago. I quit for many reasons but there were two that were the primary reasons. The first was my children and being a true role model to them. The second reason was that I was always embarressed to be a smoker. I felt that it showed a lack of self control or a weakness.
  • Because I used to smell really disgusting when I smoked. All smokers do.
  • Yes.. I'm a big smoker. For many reasons. The top 2 being: 1. I work 2. I work with children
  • I hated having something control me like cigarettes did. I hated how I would go out of my way if I were out... Quitting was the best thing I ever did.
  • expensive and also it stinks things up, like furniture and stuff.
  • I only socially smoke. My first one was almost 3 years ago and I might have smoked 5 packs in 3 years. I don't inhale. I'm not hooked on it (though I know it could be possible to sometime get hooked on it), and can easily smoke one or two and not care if I saw it again (cigarettes and flavoured cigarillos). Thank God lol cause I certainly don't wanna be hooked.
  • I'm not a smoker, because I never had a desire to even try it.
  • Good for you.
  • It smells disgusting and gives me the biggest head ache when someone smokes around me!!
  • I am a smoker and i smoke because i want to. There really isn't a main reason why i do it. I just started at 10 and have done it since.
  • Yes i do smoke a lot to overcome my tensions
