im sorry... it was supposed to be"why do catholic priest shouldn't get married?" i was in a hurry when i post this....

they're allowed...God did not ban a teacher or a priest from marriage...Aaron was an Israelite Levitical priest of the priestly tribe, he was married as most of them were..u can not marry if u choose also!!! marriage, would keep them from evil things,which is what God would want them to do if they have forbidden lusts and cravings for sex..keep it holy..:)justme

The Biblical qualifications for the leaders of the church encourages them to be married to keep them away from sexual sin. Could it possibly be that ignoring scripture has lead to all of the problems with priests?
