Was anyone near the twin towers that day?

I wasnt but I remember I was on my way to the doctor when the second plane hit and they were saying on the radio that it couldnt have been an accident. Tragic day.

No, we were burying my grandfather and did not find out until after noon. Horrible tragedy.

I think all of us were close to it in one way or another.

I was in Romford, Essex, UK and did not here about it until about 15 mins before the 1st tower fell. I got home and heard of the 2 plain crashes and just thought that was a huge coincedance! Then I turned my tv on and within minutes saw the first tower collapse, what a horrible day! Ill never forget the image of people jumping out the windows to try to escape the pain!
