I have just bought a new phone and sn 4GB SD card, when i connect the phone (with the SD card in it) to the computer, the computer says i have to format the SD card, when i try to, the computer says it was unable to format. any help?

go to run and type cmd a new window will appare type "format location name of ur card like c,e etc and put colon at the end and press enter .ur card will be formated ex:- start>run>cmd format e: press any Key for non or ceck if ur card has password.if yes then remove the password and format the card hope i am able to solve ur problem
