  • Yes there are existing records. At 1933 thousands of people were interned. Most of them by political reasons. Later lot of people wo ever were criminals were interned. This was the only group which was released and as far as I know they were about 200.000. Political prisoners almost never were released. But being released these people were put under supervision by the local police and this meant: No bars, no restaurants or public events. These people had go to work and after work they had to go home the straight way. Leaving the town was only possible by a special permission of the police. And any wrong step could bring them back to the camp.
