Why would I get offended? Someone's extending a bit of holiday cheer my way. You can wish me a happy Hanukkah, merry Kwanzaa or happy winter solstice if you like.

I don't...and I wouldn't be offended even if I didn't celebrate it...I am a very tolerant person when it comes to things relating to religion.

Not me, but if I thought someone was of a different culture or religion I would be sensitive to that and wish them the appropriate holiday well wishes.
