Help answer this question below.

If you have to pay for services from Chance or Community Chest, do you pay the bank or put it in the middle (so that if someone lands on Free Parking they get the CASH in the middle).?

We put the income tax in the free parking, but put services in the bank.

We always put it in the middle, but I know that is not according to the rules.

Official rules say that unless the card says to pay a specific player, all other fees go directly to the bank and not to Free Parking.

Playing with putting any money on Free Parking in general is a house rule and therefore will vary by who you ask.

- Monopoly documentary....for your work, I've wondered how, since many people play with house rules by placing funds in the middle, electronic monopoly money would work....wouldn't that take away a huge element of fun of the game....for your consideration and thank you for the comment.

- Hi Agent Flowers,
  You're very correct. With the Electronic Edition, free parking is eliminated as even being a possible House Rule. However, since playing with Free Parking typically will increase the length of a game, your games will now play quicker and you can possibly play two games in the time that it used to take you to play one.
  
  As an option, you could always do a house rule where if you land on Free Parking, you add $2M to the card of whoever lands on it, similar to passing GO.

It is up to the houe rules, but we put it in the middle for the free parking.

Definitely in the middle. I won't play Monopoly if we don't get money for landing on free parking.
