  • I can't see it any way than that!!!!
  • Wow, you're really going nuts on the religious discussions :P One can't really as a "what if" on a 1800 year old issue with every variable known to man, but my guess that it would not be AS widespread, but that the religion would still exist today as a major world religion. Judaism would likely take an equal part with some other new religion(s), likely one based off of the roman gods. Christianity would likely be somewhere in the percentage of modern-day Hinduism or Buddhism. But that;s all just speculation.
  • We could ask another related question to this. Would the be so many people aggressively working as Christian missionaries if there were not some very profound and important truths in the Bible?
  • the money the religious pocket tax free is the problem. all religious activities should be taxed. the bible is a bad book full of contradictions and lies and hate . i have an on going law suit against it for that .
  • I think its because of the widespread belief in Christianity.
  • Most Christian missionaries are not agressive. And most evangelize, not proselytize. Proselytism is the use of unfair and coercive methods, --that is to say, those which apply pressure--to convince a person to leave his/her religion and join another. Agression and proselytism do not really work in changing people's hearts. Evangelization, on the other hand, is giving witness to God as revealed through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit in a simple and direct manner. It includes the renewing of humanity, witness, explicit proclamation, adherence with the heart, entry into the community, acceptance of signs, and apostolic initiative. It means to carry the good news to all areas of human life and through its influence transform from within and renew humanity itself, but without pressure. With love in Christ.
