Was there a Phoenix bird at all or it's just a myth?

    Originally, the phoenix was identified by the Egyptians as a stork or heron-like bird called a benu.
    In Jewish folklore, it is said that the phoenix was the only animal not to join Adam in his banishment from the Garden of Eden. So it might still be found there.

    Maybe there was...! Or something similar to it would've certainly been there coz myths are only formed by mixing a 1st time sighting of a strange animal and imagination!! That's my point of view..! Some ppl won't agree!
