Help answer this question below.

Will any Socket A (Socket 462) motherboard work for my AMD processor. Its a AMD Athlon XP 3000+ - AXDA3000DKV4E..I think my motherboard burnt out and it smell burnt. Also does any one know where I can buy a use motherboard for the chip. Thanks

Wow - you are talking a very expensive motherboard, because they don't make them any more. But no, not just any socket A will do. Make sure it supports 400mhz FSB. A lower spec will work, but will cause a significant reduction in performance. Try ebay.
