Is it so inappropriate nowadays to have blood tests done for a couple that wants to have sex? People aren't always honest when it comes to telling their mate if they are infected are they?

It is rare if someone does that, I dont think I want a blood panel ran every time I decide to have sex, because they do cheat.

Often they are not. The key is to get to know them really well before you have sex with them. Then, use a condom. If it looks like a really serious relationship, you both need to have the tests. This used to be a law in some states. You had to have a blood test before a marriage license was granted. The test was aimed at finding syphilis.

I didn't think it was. I think it's a great idea to be as safe as possible.
