  • Depends which airline, but generally; Economy - Cheap, not much in-flight entertainment, shitty meals and a tiny ass, barely reclinable seat. And not many 'goodies' - magazines/bathroom bags etc. Business - Middle range of prices (but even then, it's a good $1500 more than economy), first class in-flight entertainment, better meals and a medium seat. First - A million waitresses to one person, massive reclinable seats, gourmet meals and first class entertainment. But stupidly, stupidly expensive. Emirates is different, their economy is just like business class and has first class entertainment, including video games. But it's uber expensive too. Oh, and 'coach' is economy. Economy is the lowest tier.
  • In business class you are given a free newspapers, in economy class you are not.
  • I have flow business class on Delta and I think for this airline it is the same as first. We got warm moist towels, a menu of dinner choices, free drinks, a little bag with socks, tooth paste etc, and free movies and tv shows on personal televisions. The chairs were great, and almost laid flat, and the flight attendant was careful to remember our names as well. It was fun, but I have flown overseas coach as well and survived, so I think if it were my money I would just fly coach.
  • I assume you are talking about international travel. Coach and economy are the same thing. Business is a serious upgrade, and a lot better than domestic First Class. These days, you get a good meal, a flat bed, a good in-flight entertainment system, and your ticket entitles you to use departure and arrival lounges. Drinks are always free, and there is often good Champagne and an interesting wine list. Finally, you will get a nice little bag of toiletries. Check out the Singapore airlines (www.sinaporeair.com). Singapore Airlines has one of the best business class products although they have eliminated the amenity kit. One of the features offered by Singapore Airlines is "Book the Cook." This enables you to order your dinner before you fly from a more comprehensive menu than an airline is usually able to carry.
