"The American Academy of Pediatrics' Caring for Your Baby And Young Child from Birth to Age Five". It's my handy-dandy go-to guide for a lot of questions I have, such as: "My 6 week old rolled off the couch and hit his head. Do I need to go to the emergency room?" or "Is it necessary to circumcise?" or "How much should a 12 month old be eating daily?" Also: Dr. Sears' "The Vaccine Book", and another great book called "Green Babies, Sage Moms". I can't remember the author offhand, but it was a good read, and very informative about chemicals around the home you might not even be aware of.
