I assumed they'd direct you to the suicide hotline. I try not to call 911 because they always send cops around.
-
They'll most likely send paramedics and police to your location, and depending on how you present yourself (your mental state), they might decide whether to have you committed to a psychiatric hospital for observation or further evaluation.
-
In some (or maybe all, I'm not sure) States, it is against the law to commit suicide and people do get arrested for it.
-
They can send help. If you are in this much pain, I think it's better to talk to someone about it right away. Crisis line is usually staffed with really good people.
-
You will have to pay for the ambulance if it is sent
-
Send the police to your house to make sure you're alright.
-
well in the uk they would send an ambulance and take you to A&E for a psychiatric assessment, then put you in a psychiatric hospital if you needed to be there.
-
Most likely send a crisis assessment team to provide help

if your suicidal don’t call the cops. they really won’t help. they will see u as crazy and force help on you. what someone who is suicidal should do is get help from someone he or she does not know in a way tho. Because help can only be given to those who want it. if your an adult get help from friends if you’re a kid a stranger is good for their esteem because they dont wana be judged by friends or family. call a hot line and if it realy cant help do what i did give yourself reason to live. because if you can’t do that you could be alive but dead inside like millions of Americans. Everybody has ways to cope you just have to find your own. and incase u do. drugs dont help if you do tho.
