  • Fruit has natural sugars and less calories. Coffee has caffeine and less calories than regular soda.
  • Fresh fruits and veggies with a handful of nuts here and there. Hummus and pita chips is a great snack as well.
  • Lots of water. The trips to the water cooler (and then to the restroom) keep me awake. Also, don't eat unless you're physically hungry. Eating just to eat (or just out of boredom) will only lead to weight gain. If you're hungry, eat some fruit or veggies. Have a half a sandwich, or a hard-boiled egg. Eat some carrots and hummus dip. Maybe some yogurt with fruit and a little granola on top.
  • I've heard in-the-shell sunflower seeds keep long-haul truckdrivers awake.
  • I keep organic peanut butter and honey wheat enlish muffins at my desk. Makes for a damn good sandwhich. =) I also keep fruit and granola. O yeah, and yogurt in the fridge.
