Yeah. After the P-Diddy case, Bloomberg changed the rules. It's 3.5yrs max just for possessing that unregistered gun. Not to mention Bloomberg said he thought it would be outrageous if Burress didn't serve any jail time. Sucks for Eli... hahaha.

1-3 min. and mandatory in NY if found Guilty. I find it hard to believe he cant be found guilty when he shot himself, lied to the hospital and police. If he gets off its another case of Money buying their way out of it.

He'll do some time. Just let me say this- Outside of the fact that he could have hurt or even killed someone with his unsafe gun practices, DUDE SHOT HIMSELF IN THE LEG WITH HIS OWN GUN!!! WHAT A DUMBASS!!! BWA-HAHAHAHA!

Hey packin heat your an idiot. If he feels so strongly he needs a gun,then do it legaly he has to much to lose. Besides do you really need to go out to a place where you feel your life is in danger,cmon really do you. I understand that people might target him because of who he is but that was just a really stupid move. He was trying to prtect his life he could have potential killed himself. Plenty of people have bleed to death from a gun shot wound to the leg.If a large blood vessel is cut a person can bleed to death in about a minutes time. Manditory time for cocealed weapon. Bloomberg will help lay the hammer on Plaxico. Personally I don't feel he should be treated any different then packing heat would be traeted for a cocealed weapon. Good luck Plaxico I think your gonna need it.

Nah, not for a gun charge...besides, didn't the fool shoot himself? They will go light on him, probation with a suspended sentence coupled with community service aimed at gun control.

New York has a mandatory 3 1/2-15 year sentence for carrying a concealed weapon. His expired Florida permit is not legal or recognized in NY (or NJ). There is apparently a possibility he could cop a plea. If the average "Joe Schmo" is charged, that is. It remains to be seen if the law will "accomodate" for another celebrity. I sure hope not!!! "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time>"

Please! An athelete with big lawyers going to jail for shooting himself! Please Michael Bloomberg needs to shut the hell up and let the legal system take it course without polluting potential jurors head with this fullest extent of the law! There's real criminals who need to be put in jail! Not some idoitic Reciever who should've been at home rehabing instead of parying!
