  • Really?! I didn't know they had any kind of computers then. Apparently the Bayer aspirin guy financed Hitler's rise to power. Another thing to think about when you have a headache!
  • Yes, I knew this and have for some time.
  • Meh. Honestly doesn't effect my opinion because what am I going to do? Retroact and be all hardcore because of what they did way back when? How about I stop buying stuff from child labor shops because they are from child labor. Eff that, best price. Mine.
  • Yes, and did you know Bayer tested drugs on death camp inmates, including aspirin. Think about that the next time you take an aspirin. http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/Bayer-AG-Company-History.html Oh, and did you know Hitler himself designed the Volkswagen Beetle? http://people.westminstercollege.edu/staff/bknorr/html/history.htm
  • I don't really think about it, and it does not influence my viewpoint of IBM.
  • The Holocaust exterminations didn't really start until after the beginning of the war, and I assume (I guess I dunno) that IBM sold them the equipment before that. The Nazi regime was obviously vile from Day 1, but it's not like the West had any knowledge that they'd eventually murder 11 million people in their death camps. So, I'd think that they're no worse than people who did business with the USSR or Communist China during their mass-murdering phases, which seems heinous enough to me.
