some people just have naturally yellow teeth, it actually means they're stronger.

I heard that there are some drugs that women used to take during pregnancy that affected the color of the child's teeth. i used to have a friend with shaded teeth (not so yellow, but more beige) and it was caused by these pregnancy drugs.

It could absolutely 100% be because you are asian. Asian people have a more yellow pigment than caucasian people, not only in their skin but also in their teeth and eyes. Same with many Indian people, I have many friends who have this problem.

Heavy consumption of antibiotics during childhood could be a reason. Excess flouriDe in drinking water could be another or it could simply be the natural colour of your teeth.

The following link discusses all the antibiotic reasons for tooth discoloration, including the one commonly taken during pregnancy some 40+ years ago (tetracycline). Antibiotic staining does not typically result in overall yellow staining, so it seems unlikely that it is your problem. http://www.dentalgentlecare.com/what_ages_teeth.htm#Tetracycline%20Staining

did you know your dentist can whiten them for you? once whitened and brushing and flossing daily you will have a nice set of pearly whites. did you know a redneck invented the toothbrush otherwise it would of been called a teethbrush.

Hey..I have the same case. I'm hispanic and before my baby teeth were white and after my actual teeth started growing they were yellow. Some doctor's say that the natural white coating of my tooth never came out but I have also heard of a medication that could have been taken during pregnancy. COuld anyone suggest what happened?

My dentist told me yellow teeth are healthier than white ones.
