To watch: golf. To play: hmmm. I think that all sports that you are playing are interesting, at least for period that you are "up." So, I'll say golf, but only while you are watching others play.

agree

Certainly so ... once you become involved in a thing, it can no longer be uninteresting, or you'd immediately move on.

Baseball by far!! I hate Japan's stupid obsession with it! A typical news show here is, "blah blah blah,......and now sports...baseball, baseball, baseball!!!!!" or "We interrupt this movie you were totally enjoying to take you live to Tokyo Dome where a bunch of guys are standing around in tight pants doing nothing!!"

Freak attack, that scenario could also equally/pretty much go for Grid iron football as well.
You get 4 secs action, then about 2 mins 'preparation', shall we kindly call it?!!L:OL

To watch: snail marathons.
To play: snail marathons.
To host: snail marathons.
To bet on: snail marathons.

It's boring.

It was boring ten years ago when it started,
and it's boring now, halfway through the race.

Some people are contemplating of including BALLROOM DANCING in the Olympics! That sure is ridiculous.
Avatar Puffhead May, 28 2008 at 06:27 PM
I say that poker is just a bunch of people gambling away their money. Really, honestly, who watches that?
Avatar Freak Attack Jun, 23 2008 at 09:59 PM
Hey, ruffryder, if you think Chutes & Ladders is boring, you've never played it as a drinking game!

So, Have you ever flown one in England?
Do you have an English pilot's license?
Can you fly a regular small plane?
Avatar Firebrand Jul, 28 2009 at 10:11 PM
I have not got my Solo License. I stopped when my son dies and then my husband became sick so for the last 5 years I have not flown at all except on Commercial Airlines. I have flown a Cessna with the regular Pilot . In California and I have a friend that runs a Tourist Airline in Vegas and we used to fly out over the Grand Canyon. I used to be fighting to stay awake if I was a passenger. I will finish my hours next year I think when I am fit again.
Avatar denidowi Jul, 29 2009 at 02:09 AM
So, you have been making flights, but not yet licensed to be your own bossLOL!
That's it.
You use a parachute for your avatar. Have you been sky diving, or diving recently, Firebrand?
If your husband is not well, does that mean you need to work full-time?

Hi Frank :)

Once, I listened to NASCAR on the radio. It might have been the most boring thing EVER. But, I think any sport that you watch on TV gets pretty boring - I'd rather go watch a game in person, and participating is even better. I especially like active sports like soccer and hockey, and I get bored when I play baseball (especially when I'm supposed to stand still and catch a ball way out in the field) or golf or any other sport that invloves long periods of doing nothing.

I am not a aports aficionado at all, so most bore me to tears. But I try to keep up with who's who and what is going on thru the media, if not to watch. I just don't have hours to sit and stare and yell. I rather be on Answerbag, for sure!!! Time really flies here. Thanks, Morgenstern.+
Avatar Morg the Army wife Oct, 28 2007 at 12:15 PM
lol! I agree :) mostly I like watching sports for all the things that go with it - people yelling and great (if unhealthy) food. Also, nothing beats a great Super Bowl commercial! :)
Avatar Puffhead May, 28 2008 at 06:31 PM
U r sooooooooooooooooooooooo right, man!! NASCAR is just a bunch of people driving around a track for 2 hourz. "Ladies and gentleman brazilian star just rounded a bend! ohhhhh, he rounded another one! There he goes again... while also you're listening to "AAAAAARRRRRAAAAAAAARRRRRRR.... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRAAAA.
Dude, I totaly agree!!!

I seldom get excited when curling matches are being broadcast and I have absolutely no desire to attend one. It ranks right up there with golf on the list of things I really don't need to watch. Nude female curling might be a tad more interesting, but that would be the only way I can imagine to liven it up for me.

I was thinking of male nude curling. Points in any case.

I happen to love curling and find it exciting. I know...weird! But I love both of your visions so points to you!! LOL!!!
