My mother raised me with my dad up until he died when I was 10. My Mom has been close to me all my life and I am very lucky to have had such a wonderful parent!

Yep, my very own momma..and my daddy...They raised seven of us...They were married to each other in spirit as well as fact. Both had equal authority over us. Nobody ran from one to the other asking for a "reprieve"..(lol!) "You did the crime..you do the time". But, we had great times. My mom was a great mother..she knew how to take care of us. She understood each of our difference and encouraged all of us to persue our own talents and interests. My dad loved her with a passion,..he would not allow any backtalking or disrespect for her in any way. He was quite a guy in his own right. He was a loving guy, but he could inspire terror if he had to.
