For all intents and purposes, yes. Aside from the physical damage she's done to her body and vocal ability, she has also been out of the industry for over 10 years. Music is a very fluid and changing art, with tastes and styles morphing in ways that are both obvious and sublime. Look at Michael Jackson. He was the king of the music scene for many years, but failed to keep up with what the public wanted. He's tried several times to resurrect his career by relying on his past successes, but it just doesn't fly in this new music age. Whitney hasn't even made an effort to stay in the game. She's one of the saddest stories in music for my generation.
