Why do the same questions often appear in Expert, Social, Local and even Shopping categories?

Some categories cross those boundaries. And sometimes duplicates will appear in different categories. See the list of categories for each button at http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2m_faq_ab_pages_common.shtml#pgs_common_topbuttons (as of September, 2008). And remember that if a category is listed, so will all of it's subcategories.
