Only if you still flinched.... joking
-
of course not!
-
Nope, its more common than a lot of people think, I'd think you less of a man if it was you that abused her.
-
Nope.
-
No, I wouldn't, and I'm sorry if that happened.
-
No, I would not.
-
I would think you less of a man if you had abused her, a woman has just as little right to abuse a man as a man a woman, abuse in any form is a big "no go"
-
No way, i'd tell the bitch to F*ck off!
-
I WOULDNT THINK OF YOU AS A MAN AT ALL....................PUSSY
-
OMG, of course not! Abuse is awful...and SHE is the one with the problem, not you. I'm glad she's your ex.
-
no she is the one who should be looked on as a lesser being. if a guy can come out and say that i say he has balls : ]
-
I think you are low on self esteem!Cheer up!Life has more stored for you!!
-
.....
-
No not at all. I have gotten into plenty of fights (fist) with guys before(I am a guy) and verbal punishment arguments with guys and girls. I would either come out on top or would lose, but wouldnt really care about it that much. That hardened me into a tough kid I thought. Then I started dating a girl who got my heart and I would let her walk all over me and mentally trash me and I was powerless. We eventually broke up and thank god cuz i am a very educated and nice person and shes will be pathetic loser all her life and a dirty barmaid because she is a lazy person. I pity the man that gets latched to her. Helpful?
-
Yes. Sorry but I'm being honest. A guy who lets a girl abuse him has no respect for himself. I'm sorry, but unless she's 300 pounds and your a twig, you as a man should be able to put her in check. What was the matter with you? I only date masculine, strong, confident men. So I wouldn't give you the time of day. And I might beat you up. :)
-
No not at all. She seems crazy, nothing on you.
-
no actually if anything it makes you more of a man in my eyes to have enough control of yourself to not kick her ass when she deserves it
-
No, in fact I think more highly of you for making her an ex after that kind of treatment.
-
No way... you can't control other people's behaviour, but you can control yourself. You did the right thing by making her an "Ex" girlfriend. Hopefully it doesn't happen to you again.
-
no sweetie
-
Not at all. I think you're a gentleman for not hitting her back. Well done for breaking the cycle and good luck in future relationships.
-
no..i would think of her as being less of a woman and more of a man..=)
-
Not at all I was physically abused by my ex and never hit her back. It took a long time for me to gather up the courage to tell people and eventually I had to leave her!
-
No, some women can be real witches! And I applaud you for not becoming physical with her. Some women are hard to handle! But I hope you have enough respect for yourself, to let her go and find someone who can treat you better.
-
nah. just hope everything is well for you, no mental anguish from the abuse or anything like that.
-
Welcome to the club. There are a lot of abusive women out there, at least in the US. And no, in no way does it make you less of a man.
-
I most certainly would not.
-
no, but i would think less of your ex-girlfriend.
-
no i would not. abuse is abuse, wether male or female.
-
NO! Not at all. That happens more often than we realize. Men just do not want to come forward and admit that it happens. Most men will not hit a woman, so they just get beat up. More men need to come forward to report it, so it can stop! If this really happened to you, I am so sorry that it did!
-
of course not peace
-
No. It's good to know that she's your ex-girlfriend.
-
no. but it does make me find you weak at some point, but if you stood up to her id admire you for that, and if you had the guts to dump her.
-
would a woman be less of a woman for being physically abused by her ex boyfriend? i'm just glad you're out of a bad situation merry xmas
-
no. I would think that you're a good person for getting through it. "no one can make you feel inferior without your permission'' -Eleanor Roosevelt
-
Honestly? Yeah, probably. Unless she's a female bodybuilder. Then I would just question your taste in women. Seriously, those chicks are gross.
-
Did you deserve it?
-
Only if it was because you hit her first. Only whimps and a-holes beat up their girlfriends/wives/sisters/mothers.
-
nonono
-
Nope.
-
I don't know about that. I think if a woman hits a man, the bitch deserves to get hit back. If it was legal, I would do it left and right.
-
Sweet...
-
No. I would think you too much of a gentleman. Which isn't really a bad thing. Glad she's an ex, though.
-
no not at all. it doesnt matter on size, capability, maturity or jack shit. im sorry if you did go through that and it makes my blood boil, i would think no less of a man being at the hands of an indecent bully than a woman. i hate how its "oh the poor lady got hit" but " oh my god look at that fag gettin hit" it should not be one rule for one etc, plus if you were to retaliate youd be the bad one for hitting back! no win situation.
-
Na bro. I don't know what the situation was, but if it really was abusive I would not see you as less of a man. No one deserves to be abused
-
not rely she left u when u abused her so its over and all i can says is its ur choice and have fun in the future m8:)
-
Uh...no. What useful purpose would that serve?
-
no..of course not... its the woman..who did this not you... sorry for happened though.
-
No, what did that evil lady do to you?
-
yes. absolutely.
-
no!!!!!
-
No mate and no one of intelligence would. In fact id go further and say i respected you for not retaliating in a similar manner. I hope you're not there anymore Ignore 'the worlds' answer, there are always unenlightened people like that, and they are really not worth considering
-
No, why would I? I would however think far less of her, I cant say I do now because I dont know her. Would you think less of me because I've been sexually assaulted violently by someone I trusted?
-
No. I'd admire your strength and courage for making the decision to leave an abusive relationship. It is never easy to do so and requires an abundance of inner resources.
-
I would think you were "less of a man" if you were still dating her. Male or female-abuse is wrong.
-
No. I'd think less of you if you were doing the beating and still with her.
-
yup
-
No way.
-
no girls are crazy and if you hit em back youd be the one sittin in jail
-
no
-
Course not,
-
No, I wouldn't.
-
no. probably respect him for getting back out there.
-
no, women can be vicious, fight dirty and are sneaky as hell. plus men are taught from an early age not to hit a woman so what are you supposed to do, run crying to the police? even the comedian Christopher Titus says he was abused by his girl friend
-
cause ya cant go around bitin people. if your in a bad situation run dont look back just run. dont bit em
-
I am so sorry you had to go through that and you did not deserve it. Any type of abuse from male or female to their S.O. is completely unacceptable.
-
No, it's a double standard we can't do anything about. Because as soon as we fight back, we are going to jail. It's such BS.
-
NO ONE deserves to be hit. You are a man and will always be...especially for getting out of that relationship.
-
No one should ever abuse anyone else. Having been abused does not make you less of a man. She is less of a real woman for having done so. Hope you are fine now.......
-
no thats not your problem its you're ex girlfriend's it would be worst if you abused her
-
NO. i see it as i would for a woman it doesnt matter wot sex you are. you shouldnt feel ashamed of wot your going threw just because you are a man you shud talk to sum1 who can help you, you deserve it just as much as a female and im sure who ever you talk to will not judge you. i hope things get better 4 u ((hugs))
-
Well, if my SO ever tried to hit me, i can tell you now i wouldn't put up with it. I don't mean that i would fight back, i would never hit a woman. But i'd have no problem pinning her down and asking her not to hit me any more. But at the same time, my SO would never hit me anyway.
-
Not at all. Congratulations on dumping her. I dumped my soon-to-be ex-wife for hitting me. There's no reason to put up with being abused.
-
I think you know only too well what my answer is.....gona tell/mail me about it? :0(
-
No I wouldn't because I know what it is like to love someone so much you denie the fact that they hurt you more than there are good times. People of both genders can be abusive. The best thing I could say to you....Thank God you are out of that relationship. Watch you don't fall for the same type girl. Look real carefully before leaping.
-
...no way...I would think more of you...besides the fact you didnt leave her. I know sometimes its hard...shes your woman. But...if you hit her back then yeah we would think less of you. But the fact is...she shouldnt have hit you and you did the right thing not to hit her back. Its just as bad when a man gets abused by his girlfriend and a girl gets abused by a man...it leads to the same mental, and physical problems...it hurts...Im sorry to hear that....Im glad you got out. She needs to fix herself...instead of tryin to beat the Fix outta you...silly girl. Anyways...hope that helped...your a good man, man.
-
of course not!! women can be devious and manipulative and for women to be abusive towards their partners is more common that people think. To me your more of a man for not retaliating...even when she may have deserved it. You were the better person :)
-
no if it was the other way around then yes.
-
Yes, to be honest i would think that you have lost every part of your manhood, including your pride and balls. In my opinion, if a girl wants to abuse me or any other man, then she is asking to be knocked the fuck out, plain and simple.
-
No, quite the opposite, I think the fact you have enough self control to not hit her back makes you more of a decent human being in my mind.
-
No, I'd think of your ex as less of a lady.
-
it happens more than u would think. and no, everyone has shit that happened to them
-
hah. no.
-
No, women are just as physically and emotionally abusive as men are. Don't ever hit her or anything. If you feel uncomfortable, than leave, you have a good reason to.
-
Abuse is abuse, just because more men are bigger and stronger than women on average. That is just an average. Not always the case. If this was an emotional thing, then you took the high road. There is nothing at all wrong with that. Seek help from a good Church it’s free.
-
No, no and no. Just a pity it had to happen to you. It changes you inside. Hey, but we survive. Ha ha
-
No dude, not at all. You know what though you don’t necessarily share this info with your next girl friend. Whatever happened in the past should stay in the past and you should move on. I am also glad that this psycho is now your ex. Cheers :)
-
I would think less of your ex. and i would think more of you for having the courage to leave her. if this has happened to you then well done xx
-
nah man its not like u could of fought bk is it
-
no not at all, i think you are a better man for not hitting back.
-
No, mate, I know guys who have been subjected to that before. It's a shame it isn't as reported on as much as the reverse. Hope you're doing well now.
-
No sir. Many men are abused by their wives or girlfriends. My wife hit me when she was drinking.
-
Why, because you're an adult and don't submit to a low common denominator by using your hands? Because using your hands in a violent manner scares you and probably freaks you out? She's your EX girlfriend, and that commands some respect my friend.
-
yes. because if I was an abusive gf it's like you'd allow me to abuse you too. I find a masterful guy sexier
-
No and i would treat with so much tender love and care.
-
no way
-
Consider this case. Men Don’t Tell A story by the daughter about her father, a Platte County (MO) Sheriff Deputy http://www.abs-comptech.com/~aewhale/men_dont.html
-
No not at all as long as you did not hit her back
-
Not less of a man but more like a crazy man!
-
i would listen to stories from both sides and then decide whats the right thing to do.
