When did the concept of "employment" and "salary" began when it was all agriculture in the very old days? Or it was atleast that people had their own employment and there was barter system... When did that change to be employed under somebody else?

There have always been other jobs and not everyone, even in the old days owned their own business. I just love it when a company approaches an employee about changing their position to salary, of course the employee should say no but often they do not because with the salary comes a couple dollars raise. You realize though that the overtime pay no longer exist, but the hours remain the same or become more. Another example of companies saving money and abusing employees.

As far I know, the term salary come from Ancient Rome, when soldiers were paid in salt. The government "employed" professional soldiers, just like we use in our militaries today.

It depends on the culture. The early inhabitants of the Americas had a sharing system very similar to what modern folk call socialism. The rule was from each according to his ability, to each according to his need. They did not even have a concept of ownership of things, so there was no dichotomy between "state owned" and personal property. People were honored by their contributions to the community, not by more material goods, but by the good will of the people. This culture was similar to the northern tribes of Europe as well. In other ancient cultures, the rudimentary beginnings of ownership were more common, such as ancient Greek and Egyptian. Things were owned and traded according to a system of exchange that included early forms of money, and people could work for others in exchange for money, rather than goods.
