Help answer this question below.

Why do there seem to be so many disgruntled people on here? My grandaughter said this site was full of nice people but I am reading some very distrubing things here.

    Simply because there is a place for everyone on AB. Some use it to comment, learn and question. Other just use it to vent. To each his own, we have lots of room for the trolls as much as we may dispise them.

    Well, it's public site, there are bound to be some people are a little disturbing, and some who are quite nice.

    And then there's me, nice AND disturbing.

    People are people, not everybody is 'nice'. In fact, nobody is 'nice' - everybody has an unpleasant side, and when you communicate with people over the internet all those social pretences you hold dear become invalid.

    That hasn't been my experience -- sure we get some folks who use this site to vent, but The number of people who are here to provide insight and answers far outweighs them. Most of us are "gruntled". I hope you decide to continue using AB.

    The thing is; ANYBODY can come on answerbag, there is bound to be nice people & 'not so nice/disturbing' people.

    Well I agree totally with mptaker! You have your people that want to learn, answer, and question! Then th people that want to vent and get their problems out, and the the lovely Trolls who are rather rude at times. AB is a place for everyone and you do have your nice, sweet people and your more dirty, blunt, smart @ss people! Not everyone is the same so everywhre you go you'll run into many different people!

    You have to take the good with the bad in any setting where there are so many people. I have disgruntled days here and there and it may show in how I answer.. I try and not vent but sometimes our mood effects how we come across.. but the truly mean spirited are here to. Over look them.
    I have seen you down rated for some really good answers.. It is silly but I would not even pay it any attention.. it should not be what people are here for. I think new people are the best and once you can see they give sensible answers the whole badge stuff and whatnot should be overlooked.. not the people giving their time and sharing their experiences.
