Doesn't matter... I just don't like them all crummy and hard. I once bought a coffee cake muffin, and I couldn't tell the crust from the guts. Everything was hard, I just don't like that :( Also, I almost typed wonce instead of once :)

We like 'em kinda warm, with thin slices of room temp butter so the butter melts/oozes into the muffin..mmmm..maybe I'll make some today! :) Happy Friday, FI! :)

when i make muffins i slice a stick of cold butter into pats, and when the muffins come out of the oven i slice the top of the muffin open and insert a pat right in each one. my family loves that!!

depends on the flavor of said muffin. most likely i would eat it cold, plain. apple streusel and pumpkin spice are my faves.

I love muffins warmed in the microwave on "defrost". That makes them warm, but not mushy hot.
