Question

Help answer this question below.

I don't know much about computers as this question will no doubt show.
Every time I use Microsoft word pad and choose a font style, it keeps returning to the first font on the menu whenever I hit the space bar. How can I lock it on my chosen font?

That is a very bizzare behavior. I just tried in my word pad, and it does not do that at all. However, it does default when I delete all text on the page. The behaviour you describe should not be happening. You may want to try the knowledge base at Microsoft.com. I have never had a lot of success getting help there. I doubt if there is any support at all for the program either, since it is what is known as a "value added" program. In other words your lucky to have it at all because it's free.

I would reccomend Googling "free word processing programs". There's bound to be something better than wordpad out there. I've never found it very useful myself, but I use Word.
