You can, although it will be easier if they're fixed, and getting them to pee in the box is about the best you can do. Bunnies poop wherever.

My bun was easily litter-box trained. She used it all the time (for poops too) and she wasn't fixed. I kept her in the kitchen initially, til she found it and started using it - then she had free range of the house. Sometimes she would poop on the beds, but not often. She was never caged tho, maybe that makes a difference.

Hmm well when i had a rabbit, he would never poop in the box, but he did pee in it (well coz i trained him) but owell atleast the poop is easier to clean up :p some stores already have the rabbit trained to use a litter box.
