I've seen people putting lemon or lime on the opening of corona beer bottle, was it lemon or lime? Why? Does it enhance flavor?

That would be a lime. And it's more of a tradition than anything. But it does taste good. Doesn't quite ENHANCE the flavor persè, but it adds a flavor into the beer. I've also seen people put the lime straight into the bottle, which is what I usually do.

At first I thought that it was just a marketing gimick, until I finally tried it for the first time, and was impressed that it made the Corona taste better.

It's Lime & it's put there to try & disguise the "Mexican Whiz" inside!!! John

It's lime. And it does make it taste better. You put a lime in and a little salt. I can't explain why, but it makes it delicious.
