Can I declare my vehicle non operational until I get insurance?
I wouldn't plan on driving it. I'm shopping around for a better insurance deal now that my truck is paid off. do I have to tell the DMV?

    depends on where you live, here in VA the insurance co. will tell the DMV as soon as you drop your coverage, and your license will be suspended.
