MY HUSBAND, he was not expected to see the summer and he is still bucking the odds. Less importantly . I got 2 prs of gold earrings.2 pairs of PJs, Bedsocks to match ( I am a very chilly individual), A very large Beauty Collection Cosmetic box.Perfume, Oh lots of small things but my sister gave me a very rare coin collection which she bought at auction. When she showed it to me a few months ago I was so envious because I collect coins and I cried when she left it for me because it was such a wonderful gift. not because it cost a lot of money ( which it did ) but because she knew it would be the second most thing I wanted as a gift and although she wanted it so much herself she still gave it to me. Hope you understand my maudling explanation. EDIT. This answer was 2006. Everything fell apart 4 days later. My husband died the 28th.

My hubby got me an e-reader. This is a slim electronic book sized thingy and you download books into it to read. You can put 100+ books into it, which you buy at a discounted price from a website or Amazon. I buy lots of books and then I keep them all on shelves and hate to part with them. My hubby doesn't get that! So this way my whole library is in my little e-reader.....what a neat gift!!!

I got my new camera. Finally. At the moment I have about forty pictures of my own feet, I was just too excited. Dead good quality, compared to the nightmare that was my old broken camera. I know I broke it, but whatever. And new shoes and stuff, new shoes are a babe. And a ton of makeup. People may be trying to tell me something, I don't know...

from my children I got a very nice fuzzy pair of slippers and a hand painted snowman wall hanging and a clay painted vase that my oldest made in art class. From the parents, grandparents, etc. I got some MONEY:) a new cookbook, a sudoku puzzle, some fuzzy socks a scrabble dictionary and an Alan Jackson calendar! I still have one more Christmas gathering on Saturday.

Not much...little token things that made us think of the person (candles, indoor/outdoor weather station, things we can use up or eat!...we cut back years ago. We have all been blessed with so much...we have more than what we need, most of what we want and none of us need anymore "stuff".

i got my present early this year. its a 32" flat screen Sony tv! i LOVE it! i've had small tv's all my life so this is such an upgrade! :)
