There was a fellow 2000 years ago who is recorded as having provided all of humanity with a message that would usher in a happier and more hopeful future. They wrote a popular book about him and there have been movies made based on the book. Today many people have different interpretations of that message and some even get into fights (physical as well as verbal) over the meaning of that message. But somehow world peace seems to elude us. You would think that having had 2000 years to understand and work on the message we would have gotten it right by now. In the meantime, I'll go with Obama.

What she can and can't accomplish in a day... a month...and a year... So many women on here (everywhere really) settling for so much less than they deserve. I think those who vote for Obama see him in that role. Of course, we will not know for sure unless he wins and performs according to what we think will happen. Time will tell..we shall see. One can only hope it is all truthful. But in the end it will be a crapshoot, no matter who is chosen. We don't know what we will be faced with and we can't be sure we will act in the most intelligent way. Look at the past 8 years..could there have been a worse way to "govern"? A co-worker & friend is always volunteering at work, at home, at church, etc. She is very giving of herself, puts herself out for other people, never gossips ( I try to get her to, she just won't), always positive & patient. We would never have war or poverty or ignorance if she ruled the world.
